A friend posted this video by gnarly bay on Facebook the other day and it immediately caught my attention because of the word ‘story’ in the title. Perhaps it’s because I’m thoroughly involved in editing pages and pages of my father’s story or because I’m astounded at the fact that history was created based upon stories – regardless, I’ve become enraptured with this concept of storytelling. Consequently, my captured knowledge of 8 years of marketing are now evolving into an out-pouring of people’s, brand’s, organization’s stories instead of through the traditional, textbook stratified marketing approach.
As I watched and listened to ‘a story for tomorrow’, the visuals, the words, the pace all wove together in perfect harmony, for me. In my humble opinion, this is the future of marketing.
