I don’t love fishing, but I do love water. I’ve told my husband that I’ll cast-off with him when I’m 60 and want to slow down, but until then I’d rather swim, float, paddle, or surf  the waterways.

I watched this trailer by felt soul media this morning, and found myself thinking about the future of our waters.  Will I even have the chance to actually catch something worth eating in a clean and rushing river when I’m 60?  Not knowing a whole lot about the state of rivers, streams and waterways in general but being raised by a very earthly conscious mother – I can’t help but think that anything that stands in the way of nature cannot be good and will eventually come down.

Therefore, I hope to witness a massive KaBOOM, followed by a free-flowing Matilija River, while living in Ojai.
